Simon has more than 30 years’ experience in health and safety, including 20 years as a self-employed consultant. He has worked with employers from a wide spectrum of workplace types including manufacturing, engineering, science, telecommunications, forestry, civil and building construction, retail and many small to medium industries. That breadth of experience was also enhanced by a 15-year contract with ACC as an Approved Auditor for their AEP and WSMP incentive schemes. Simon’s key area of interest is in the design, implementation and maintenance of safety management systems. He is also an experienced trainer and auditor. As a consultant, Simon takes much satisfaction from de-mystifying health and safety for you, and removing obstacles. He listens carefully to understand your business and to provide advice that makes sense to you and your particular circumstances.
